‘How to Reinvent Your Career’ Webinar
Thursday 21st March 2019
Are you feeling burned out, frustrated, unfulfilled… and ready for “something different” in your career? Feel like you’re at a fork in the road? Should you “settle” for your present work or carve out a new path? First, don’t confuse reinventing with mid-life crisis. Changing course isn’t limited to the over-40 crowd. It can occur at any point in your career.
In this webinar, Occupational Psychologist Lucy Standing will explore:
· Why following your passion is bad advice
· The psychological traps which will lead you to making the wrong choices
· Tips on what to do to reduce the risk of making a mistake
· The priorities you should look for when making a career switch
Lucy is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, Associate fellow of the British Psychological Society and Vice Chair of the ABP (Association for Business Psychology). She brings her passion and understanding of psychology to the world of business to help people become more effective in their performance at work.
Lucy started work at JP Morgan Chase as graduate recruitment manager before joining strategy consulting firm LEK Consulting as Global head of recruitment. She switched into consulting and worked for a number of years before going freelance once she started having a young family. Lucy now works on an entrepreneurial and voluntary basis: as Vice chair of the ABP she is helping shape and operate a not for profit organisation.
