Solutions to your networking challenges presented by Jane Barrett
Thursday 20th October, 12:30 – 13:30 CET
Over the years, we have found being an effective networker has been a crucial skill for job seeking. Longer term it is also useful in many professional settings; in raising your profile within a company, developing a business, or building partnerships.
Prior to this webinar we will be asking you what networking challenges you face. In the session we will address those challenges and specifically cover:
1) Developing relationships with contacts
How to overcome a mind-set that networking is tiring, pointless, shallow and that you are not doing your job when you are networking!
How to get the motivation to network
How to spot who can help you (and who won’t)
2) Leveraging relationships with contacts
How to get the information you need (and ask in the right way!)
How to ask about jobs
How to come across as interested and interesting
