The emlyon business school forever alumni community of New York gathered at the French Consulate on October 23rd for a special Alumni Day.
Indeed, thanks to our local ambassador, Tenaya Da Silva, Madam the General Consul of France in New York, Anne-Claire Legendre invited emlyon business school to organize an event at the French Consulate in her presence.
It was a perfect occasion to strengthen our relations with diplomatic organizations and to inform the French Consulate of the developments of our school. Madam the General Consul recognized the digital shift and the impressive global strategy our school has taken over the past three years.
Christèle Fernand, Alumni network Director and Aurore Poirier, International development Manager, were also present and shared important information regarding the school and the network:
• The opening of a campus in Paris and the advantages for lifelong members;
• The current construction of a new campus in Casablanca, since the numbers of students keep increasing;
• The election of Guillaume Touze (alumnus PGE 1994) as the new President of the emlyon forever association (ADEM);
• The ongoing improvements of the emlyon forever website and mobile application.
We would like to thank Mr. Christophe Grignon, alumnus Programme Grande Ecole 1991, for his testimony as Head of Investment Department, USA, for Business France in NYC. His experience is a great example of an international career, since his previous positions were located in Taiwan and in Japan.
The students of the MSc in Luxury Management and Marketing in Luxury will be traveling to New York in January 2018. It will be a great opportunity to gather alumni who work in that field to share their experience. Your local ambassadors will soon contact the network on that matter.
Thank you all for your commitment to the network and for being a very active community!
