On Monday, May 26th, 17 Alumni from EMLYON Business School gathered at UBS Geneva to hear about the EMLYON Foundation, its projects, its ambitions, and how everyone can help its development at a personal or professional level.
The Foundation aims at developing entrepreneurial spirit, hence supporting the School’s baseline “developing entrepreneurs for the world”; it is the channel of support to enable Alumni and Corporations to giving money dedicated to specific projects.
At the moment, the main action is to distribute scholarships to 500 students per year, based on social criteria (500k€ are distributed each year).
Alumni residing in Switzerland can give money to the EMLYON Foundation and benefit of the applicable fiscal rebate, thanks to a partnership with the Foundation de France.
Jean-Claude Michel, president of the Foundation, was in Geneva with Delphine Botti, the Foundation’s representative, to present the track record of the Foundation, and discuss with Alumni. He is graduated from ESC 1976, former president of Norbert Dentressangle Group, and also vice president of the EMLYON Board of administrators.
The Foundation will organize other events like this in various European countries in the next months – interested in hosting one in your company’s offices? Contact Delphine: firstname.lastname@example.org
